Mini Foxy / Jack Russell cross

This little guy passed away over a year ago at the age of 17.5 years and it took quite a while before i could manage to paint him. The reason for it being so hard is that he was mine.
It can be a very emotional process and choosing the right image and the right timing is important.

I realise some may be wondering why his eyes are a little off but when he was 11 he had prosthetic eye surgery.
He was partially blind from the age of 4 and completely by 11. He never let it stop him and he lived a very full life.
I wanted to show him as he was.
